Lissy Elle heter denna fantastiska fotograf. Hennes bilder är kreativa in i minsta detalj och sprudlar av fantasi. Jag slutar aldrig förundras över hur tusan hon kommer på allt och har kommit på mig själv många gånger med att sitta och gapa av beundran.
Namn. Land. Kamera: Lissy Laricchia (or Lissy Elle, due to people’s inability to spell my last name). Canada. Nikon D90.
Hur länge har du varit intresserad av foto?
I guess the interest has always been there, but several years ago a friend of mine had started a 365 project, and I’d badgered him about it. Perhaps a week later I had started my own with an eight-year-old Fujifilm; that one day fell to its death from a tree I was using as a tripod. Looking back now, maybe I should be a little less impatient when I mention my current 365 project to friends and acquaintances and what I get in return are empty vacant stares.
I stopped that 365 project after several months. Pictures of crooked trees and macro photos of flowers didn’t interest me anymore.Hur kommer du på alla dina idéer? Var får du din inspiration ifrån?
Children, mostly. And their complete lack of care for boundaries, and rules, and what it means to be different. Currently I’m delving deep into what gave me joy as a child. Tea parties, stuffed animals, Disney movies and tutus. I’ve discovered that I haven’t really changed that much. I’m also incredibly inspired by surrealism art, like Rafal Olbinski and Jacek Yerka.
